The Singapore Zoo’s Zoo Hoo holiday programme returns this weekend, 6 December 2014.
During the December weekends, kids can embark on a Wildlife Warrior Trial (WWT) where they can learn about protecting endangered animals such as the orang utan, white rhinoceros and the Asian elephant. Trail booklets can be collected at the Rainforest Courtyard, opposite the Entrance Retail shop. The first 350 children who complete the trail on activity days will be rewarded with a special WWT goodie.
Other activities taking place at the Singapore Zoo over the weekends of December over the holidays include Mascot Appearances (10.15 am, 12.15 pm and 4.15 pm at the Entrance Plaza), art and craft activities such as bottle cap badge making, sticker making and DIY 2015 Calendars (at various timings and locations) and enrichments sessions where animals will feast on special treats.
Kids can also take part in Wild Play, an interactive and educational session at the Frozen Tundra Amphitheatre, where they will learn about saving wildlife through play and games. This takes place at 11 am and 3 pm on weekends.
From 1 December 2014, Jurong Bird Park will also be running a special Feather Friends promotion in celebration of SG50 where local Singapore residents get to enjoy one year’s worth of admission for the price of a one-day ticket.
From now till 10 December, take part in the Little Day Out Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park Ticket Giveaway and stand to win tickets to visit these two parks.
