Gateway Theatre Turns One
Sharing is caring!

Gateway Theatre is turning 1 year old! Gateway Theatre celebrates its first birthday with a fun and colourful birthday party!

There will be a Carnival in the Sky Garden featuring food, interactive games, prizes, arts and crafts. Play games at our carnival booths for a chance to win prizes, or learn a few juggling tricks from our friendly Juggler, Jon Danger! There are other activities such as arts and crafts, face painting, balloon sculpting, kids dance showcase AND a mermaid!

In the Black Box theatre, there will be a kids show that features a giant balloon and giant puppets! The show opens with our friend Jon Danger, a magician who will show-off his incredible giant balloon trick.

This is followed by the intriguing and revealing story of The Spineless Jellyfish and Cunning Monkey. A story adapted from a Japanese folk tale by Samantha Scott-Blackhall and performed by Actress Amy Cheng.
