
Gardeners’ Day Out promises an entire weekend of gardening and lifestyle activities for everyone. Favourite highlights include a Gardeners’ Market, Food Bazaar, free talks and demonstrations, free garden tour of HortPark and kids’ activities like storytelling and art & craft!
PROGRAMMES INCLUDE:
The Bee Trail
Time: 10 am to 11 am
This fun educational bee-themed trail will be one of the regular programmes offered for kids, featuring three different bee habitats in HortPark. Spot around 20 different bee species that live in the gardens, and learn about the many beneficial roles that native bees play, such as the pollination of edible food plants. You can explore the trail on your own or take part in the free guided walk.
To join, register at the Visitor Services Centre by 9.45 am, and gather at the Meeting Point 5 min before the tour begins.
