The Marina Square Whimsical Food Fair returns for a second year with sweet delights and mouth-watering treats that will help you fill up your Instagram feed.
This year, the vendors at the Whimsical Food Fair include Angel Baker, COLLIN’S, Fooditude, Loco Loco, Rainbow Works, Street Food Circus, Shaun Teo Creation, Takoyaki x Local Flavours, The Wicked Cream and Twentygrammes. Here is a look at the some of the whimsical foods that you can expect to find at the Whimsical Food Fair 2018.
Loco Loco will have Churros on sale in a selection of local flavours. How does Ondeh Ondeh, Salted Egg Yok and Chilli Crab flavours sound to you? For kids, there is the ever-popular Oreo flavour while other items to look out for at Loco Loco’s stall include Chicken Scotch Eggs with Hoisin Sauce and Ondeh Ondeh Pancakes.
Sip on French Soda with a smoky dry ice effect in deep, rich colours.
Time to start a new hobby? How about baking?
Shaun Teo Creations
Bite into artisan cake pops in whimsical and animal designs. Looking almost too pretty to eat are floral-themed cake pops which have been specially designed for the Marina Square Whimsical Food Fair.
Takoyaki X Local Twist by Loco Loco
Tuck into torched takoyaki with flavours like cheese and mentaiko. Wash it down with Japanese beverages like Okinawa Milk Tea and Sakura Rose Tea.
Street Food Circus
Cheesy Chicken Karaage and Crispy Soft-shell Chilli Crab are some of the unique Circus Ramen flavours you can expect to find at this year’s Whimsical Food Fair.
Drool-worthy cakes, soft serve in a unicorn float and cake on fruit-based drinks. Get your cameras ready for some Instagram-worthy food shots at the Twentygrammes stall.
