People’s Association Youth Chinese Orchestra (PAYCO), a full-fledged orchestra involving multi-ethnic musicians, will be performing with their traditional instruments to compositions that embrace Singapore’s multi-cultural identity and global flavour. The performance will showcase People’s Association leading role in promoting racial harmony and strengthening Singapore’s multi-ethnic heritage through music and dance, including classical Chinese melodies, familiar folks tunes such as Di Tanjong Katong, Munneru Valiba as well as popular pop song Mambo No. 5.
