Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay is a performing arts centre for everyone, and there are plenty of shows and activities catered for young audiences all year round. The centre opened in 2002. Many young ones, aged 2 and up, attend Esplanade’s young audience programmes such as Octoburst! – A Children’s Day Festival, PLAYtime! and Limelight, which feature music, dance and theatre performances and visual arts exhibitions, with a special emphasis on Asian culture.
