Bird Paradise’s Water Play Area: Egg Splash
Egg Splash is one of several play areas at Bird Paradise. Located next to the Sky Amphitheatre and TreeTop Play, Egg Splash is a water playground where kids can wander into the water and have some splashing fun.

There are different zones designed for different ages at the Bird Paradise splash pad.
Water Slides
6 to 12 year olds can head over to the water slides. Kids can climb up the steps to the elevated platform and make the choice of going down one of two water slides.
On the exterior of the structure, there are little water pockets and penguin sprays that can be turned around for a flurry of fun.
Located between the two water slides at this zone, there are sprays and fountains that kids can enjoy.
Toddler Water Play Area
Younger kids who are 2 to 5 years old have a separate sheltered zone. These younger children can make use of the two low slides with a total of four lanes lead down to a wading pool.
More Water Play for All Ages at Bird Paradise’s Water Playground
There are several other sections for kids to enjoy water play at Egg Splash.
One of the interesting water play features are a set of water fountain trampolines.
Kids can jump on the pads and the force of their weight create sprays of water jets that come out from the side of the pads. Different pads have different types of sprays. It is fun to explore and try out the various fountain pads available.
Another section features a cluster of four low water umbrellas. Kids can duck underneath and enjoy hiding under the curtain of water.
Yet another part of the Bird Paradise water playground can be found along the stretch of steps at the rear of the playground.
A huge bucket is continuously filled with water and we kept expecting the bucket to tip over and the water to come splashing down. However, it seems that the bucket is not designed not tip over. Instead, the water just overflows and comes down on to the roof of the shelter, create a continuous shower of water.
A surprise water play section is the area in front of the larger water slide zone. While it looks like a dry area, it is actually water fountain area that occasionally rises up to create a fun splash play zone.
What to Know About Egg Splash Water Play at Bird Paradise
Before you head down to Egg Splash with the kids, it is useful to know the following points.
Do make sure that kids are dressed appropriately for water play. If they need swim diapers, please be considerate and put them on.
Kids should shower before and after playing. There is an outdoor changing and shower area towards to the rear of Bird Splash. There are also toilets located near the changing and shower area.
No footwear is allowed in the water play area.
Egg Splash is suitable for children between the ages of 2 to 12. Children below 6 years old must be accompanied by an adult and children should be supervised at all times.
The operating hours for Egg Splash are from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. The use of Egg Splash is included as part of the admission to Bird Paradise.
Not related to the water play area but useful to know for those kids may need it: there is also a calm room known as the Egg-scape Room that is designed for anyone who needs a break from sensory stimulation.
