Wondering what is “hop-pening” for Easter 2017 in Singapore? This year, Easter falls on Sunday, 16 April. With a public holiday on Friday, 14 April, it is one of the seven long weekends of 2017. With the long break looming, we picked up our wicker basket and went in search of Easter egg hunts, Sunday brunches and chocolate treats taking place for Easter 2017 in Singapore.

Easter Brunches

Spirit of Easter Brunch, Town Restaurant, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

Town Restaurant, The Fullerton Hotel, SingaporeDine at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore’s Town Restaurant for Easter. Its Sunday Champagne Brunch will be serving up wood-fired pizzas, dim sum, a carvery of meats and more. Tuck into a steamed egg custard prepared in its shell with King Crab, Urchin Cream and 24-hour Slow-roasted Whole Wagyu Beef Leg. Kids get to enjoy a special Children’s Corner with Easter Egg Decorating activities. An Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 1.30 pm.

Easter-edition Dim Sum Brunch, The Clifford Pier, The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore

Dim Sum Brunch, The Clifford Pier, Fullerton Bay Hotel, SingaporeThe dim sum trolleys roll out at The Clifford Pier’s Easter-edition weekend brunch. In addition to the must-have dim sum fare, “live” stations bring back the Pier’s hawker history with signature local delights such as Indian Mamak Rojak, Mini Crispy Man Tou and rolled-to-order Popiah. Desserts include sweet rainbow Agar Agar, assorted Nyona Kuehs and festive Easter chocolates. Children can take part in an Easter egg hunt at 1.30 p.m at The Floating Ponds.

Open Farm CommunityCosy up to a three-course Easter Brunch at Open Farm Community. Enjoy Lamb and curry scotch egg; or opt for the 63 degree eggs in the shell served with toasted sourdough, fresh ricotta cheese, baked beans, stir fried chilli beef rib eye and spring onions. Their a la carte Weekend Brunch and Little Diners menus will also be available throughout the day. Children also get to go on an Easter egg hunt around Open Farm Community’s garden.

Fancy a chocolate buffet? The Ritz Carlton’s Easter Buffet Brunch Extravaganza has this and much more, including a carving station and sushi bar. Kids get their own buffet area and can take part in activities such as an Easter egg hunt, bouncy castle and kiddie rides. The Easter Bunny will be hopping by too.
