Did you know that dragonflies are among one of the most ancient winged insects in the world? With body structures that have remain largely unchanged since the Jurassic age, these fighter jets of the insect world help to keep the population of insects in check, and are an indicator for the health of our environment.

Learn how the plants and animals have adapted to this wetland habitat, discover the differences between dragonflies and damselflies, and challenge yourself to identifying the many species of ‘dragons’ and ‘damsels’ that can be found here!
