Go on a journey back to the Cretaceous period and encounter Australian polar dinosaurs at Science Centre Singapore’s latest exhibition, DinoQuest. The exhibition runs from 1 June to 31 August 2019 at Science Centre Singapore, The Annex.
This new exhibition draws on the discoveries made at Dinosaur Cove in Australia by Emerita Professor Patricia Vickers-Rich and her husband Professor Thomas Rich. It presents an interactive adventure which takes place across seven thematic zones.
DinoQuest: Go on a Search For Dinosaurs
Explorer’s Hut
At the first DinoQuest zone, visitors get to meet their holographic guides, Professor V and her assistant Rex inside an Explorer’s Hut. Using an RFID tag, visitors can register the start of their personal dino quest.
Dinosaur of Darkness
Travel back in time to the early Cretaceous period and come face-to-face with creatures like the Pterosaur, Timimus and Ankylosaur in a projection-and-animatronic show.

Extinction Theatre
Visitors will get to experience the events that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs through 4D show featuring smoke, sound effects and theatrical lighting.
Dig Site
Learn how dinosaur fossils are uncovered in the field at a replica of an actual dig site. There are also exhibits which explain the process of fossilisation.
Laboratory
Move from the “field” into a re-creation of a palaeontologist’s high-tech lab. Find out more about the work of a palaeontologist and even get to try some of the tools used to process fossils.
Dinosaur Dreaming
Dinosaur Dreaming is the “museum” section of DinoQuest where visitors can view replicas of dinosaur skeletons found at Dinosaur Cove, including a reconstruction of Timimus, a tyrannosauroid that was discovered in 1994.
Activity Zone
Complete your DinoQuest experience at the exhibition’s Activity Zone. Visitors can colour a “dinosaur” and even name it as well. Watch as it comes to life digitally in a virtual animated Dinosaur Park.
The DinoQuest exhibition is curated by Science Centre Singapore and created together with Dezign Format and brought to life using technology from Digimagic Communications. It opens from 1 June to 31 August 2019. Tickets are priced at $18 per adult, $15 per child and $52 for a family of two adults and two children.
