The Omni-Theatre is closed for upgrading works from 20 April 2015 till June 2015.

he 248-seat theatre delivers an immersive experience with large format films and specially-designed facilities such as a 5-storey high dome screen and surround sound system.

With the upgrade, the Omni-Theatre will add on the digital planetarium capabilities to its existing IMAX screening capabilities. The digital planetarium will allow audiences to view stars, planets and other astronomical objects on the theatre’s 23 metre wide curved screen, either through the screening of pre-programmed shows or in real-time as a presenter manipulates the images on the screen while giving a live lecture.
