DBS Marina Regatta 2016 returns with bold new experiences on- and off-water over two weekends on 28-29 May and 4-5 June. Singapore’s biggest water sports fest by the bay will once more see the region’s top dragon boating teams battle it out beneath the iconic Marina Bay skyline.
Singapore’s one and only urban pop-up beach also makes a big comeback, featuring Southeast Asia’s tallest inflatable water slide (over five storeys tall!) – for the first time. The beach comes with a packed programme of non-stop activities for families and urbanites alike. Board sports enthusiasts can try their hand at stand-up paddling and yoga sessions, while kids can explore the kayaking, zorbing, and obstacle courses.
DBS Marina Regatta 2016 will also bring together a collective of home-grown designers, musicians and chefs gather at Marina Bay over two amazing weekends. Lovers of artisanal, handmade crafts will discover plenty of unique finds at the regatta’s artisan market, Shop House. Curated by art market specialists, The Local People, and housed in refitted shipping containers, Shop House will feature local designers such as accessories brand Supernacular and potter Oh Leaf. Or grab a bite at the food village Chow House, for mouth-watering meals by popular eateries Snag Shack, Fika, Kerbside Gourmet and more.
