Usher in the Year of the Pig with your family through a fun-filled weekend at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre!

In the spirit of reunion, families can put their heads together in a mass hunt for the real God of Fortune (Cai Shen Ye); or join hands to learn more about our cultural traditions through a series of Chinese New Year-themed craft and cultural workshops from upcycling, bento-making to lion dancing. Families can also get together to the tunes of local wind percussion ensemble Reverberance or delight in a special exhibition by local illustrator Ah Guo – all part of a curated line-up of programmes that will appeal to all ages.

Rounding up the festivities is a limited-edition red packet designed by local illustrator Ah Guo with an original song by composer-pianist Peng Chi Sheng, specially commissioned by SCCC for the season. This is SCCC’s first “singing red packet”, and pays tribute to our Singapore Chinese culture by featuring popular local New Year dish yusheng. Visitors can get their red packets either by collecting stamps when they participate in activities at the event, or take part in SCCC’s online contests on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Free admission, certain activities are chargeable. Pre-registration is required
