Calling all courageous, creative children! We need your help to save a troubled village!
Once, there was a small fishing village. The villagers enjoyed a simple, happy life…till they were attacked by ferocious swordfishes that leapt out of the sea! Can one child rise above the rest to lead the villagers? Can the villagers come together to think of how to defend themselves?
Singapore theatre director Danny Yeo, in collaboration with 3 Pumpkins Projects, developed an innovative and unique children-only interactive theatre experience with Child’s Play – The Story of Nian at Huayi 2017. Continuing on that popularly received production, they return to present Child’s Play – The Story of Redhill, based on a well-loved Singapore folklore, for children ages 6 to 11 in Huayi 2018.
Through immersive active participation in storytelling and handicraft activities, children learn about teamwork, responsibility, and how to problem-solve, without the help of parents or teachers!
