The date marks the global celebration of Star Wars Day and Star Wars fans take it as a chance to indulge in Star Wars-themed activities and fun. So, for Star Wars Day 2018, what can fans in Singapore look forward to? We run down two events being held in conjunction with Star Wars Day 2018.

Star Wars Day: May the 4thBe With You Festival

For two days, the F1 Pit Building will harbour the Star Wars Day: May the 4th Be With You Festival. Taking place on 4 May, Friday, and 5 May, Saturday, this Star Wars celebration is organised by Esprimo and local fan collective #MAYTHE4THSG.
Activities that will be taking place at the Star Wars Day: May the 4th Be With You Festival include a movie screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (4 May, 8.30 pm) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (5 May, 8.50 pm), performances by a Star Wars tribute band that will be performing classic tunes from the Star Wars songbook and a Fan Costumers March-in.
Kids can dress up as their favourite Star Wars character and participate in a fashion parade on 5 May at the Main Stage and also learn the ways of the Jedi in a Kids Jedi Academy Lightsaber Workshop.

Another highlight of the Star Wars Day 2018 event will be the presence of Albin Johnson, founder of the international Star Wars costuming organisation, 501st Legion. He will be there with his pink droid R2-KT.
The Star Wars Run 2018 will also be held at the F1 Pit Building on Saturday, 5 May 2018.
The Star Wars Day: May the 4th Be With You Festival will be held on 4 May, 3 pm to 11 pm and 5 May, 11 am to 11 pm.

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort Star Wars Days 2018

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort will be holding the fourth LEGO Star Wars Days until 13 May 2018.

Activities being held at the resort in conjunction with Star Wars Day 2018 include a LEGO family building activity, an intergalactic parade featuring costumed Star Wars characters and an activity trail for fans who can go in search of Darth Vader at the Miniland. Complete the Miniland scavenger hunt to win a limited edition LEGO Star Wars Commemorative DUPLO brick.
Kids between three and 11 years old who are dressed in full Star Wars costume also get to enjoy free admission to the park. Terms and conditions apply.
