Brass Nation is a nine-piece brass ensemble based in Singapore that incorporates elements of soul, funk, hip hop, rock and pop music within a contemporary brass band framework.
Inspired by the soul rebels, Brass Nation started out playing covers for private shows and community engagement programmes since 2013. After playing for some time, they realised that there was a demand for roving brass bands in Singapore. They began to research and reference overseas festival bands, and then incorporated their own creativity into their covers, bringing audiences a whole new level of entertainment experience on the songs they used to listen to.
