By Candlelight is a new chamber music series presented by The Arts House. This season will feature four performances, each carefully curated by pianist Kseniia Vokhmianina, and celebrates how chamber music is best meant to be experienced: in living rooms and cosy venues, surrounded by family and friends.
This second concert, Myths and Legends, features Kseniia and Swiss soprano Maria Gessler in an evening of art songs that celebrate two stock female characters often found in classic literature and song – Mignon the dreamer and Lorelei the siren. This concert is hosted by Dr Tang Tee Tong.
We invite you to join us for an evening of live chamber music played by acclaimed musicians as well as share and learn music insights.
