Sharing is caring!

Coffee Morning is the British Council’s series of informal gatherings for new expatriates.  The fun, informative sessions give you the insider information you need to make the most out of Singapore.

From learning how to say you want less sugar in your ‘kopi’ to ensuring you don’t accidentally give a clock as a gift, it covers the syntax of Singlish to the origins of some of the names of places you pass every day.

You will also get the inside scoop on hotspots to explore and discover, and find out about the customs and locales that make Singapore such a multicultural place to live, work and play.

At previous events, over 24 different nationalities have come together at the British Council’s Napier Road Centre. Having the opportunity to make new connections at sessions like this is invaluable to those newly arrived to Singapore.
