Colours have played a large part in many different cultures and traditions for thousands of years. People have been inspired by the multitude of beautiful colours in nature and relied on plants to provide dyes to create unique patterns and motifs to express themselves. In this workshop, participants will learn about the important role of plants in human culture and explore creative expression at the Ethnobotany Garden, including trying their hands at traditional dyeing techniques.
Suitable for children in K1 – P6 levels.
Fee: $50 per child (includes all materials and refreshments)
