Singapore Public Holidays & School Holidays 2018

Singapore Public & School Holidays Calendar 2018

We love public holidays, school holidays and long weekends! Whilst there isn’t a bumper crop of long weekends in Singapore in 2018, there are still ways to stretch the four that we are getting into nine long weekends!

Your long weekends will take place during the following public holidays – New Year’s Day (January), Chinese New Year (February), Good Friday (March) and Hari Raya Puasa (June).

To create five more long weekends, simply take one day’s leave around Labour Day (April/May), Vesak Day (May), National Day (August), Deepavali (November) and Christmas Day (December).

The kids get an extra day off on the day after National Day. So, if you take leave on 10 August, the whole family can enjoy an amazing four-day-long weekend in August.

Take one more day’s of leave on Monday, 2 July in celebration of Youth Day, and on Friday, 5 October for Children’s Day. And you’ll get yet another three-day long weekend to spend with your kids.
