Yew Tee may be a relatively small residential neighbourhood but that just means that if you want to make your way around the various Yew Tee playgrounds, which include those around Limbang and Stagmont area, it is easier to do so.
Located in the north of Chua Chu Kang, the Yew Tee name derived from “Oil Pond”, a reference to a oil storage area that was once its claim to fame. Nowadays, it is known as Prime Minister Lawrence Wong’s ward and also gets the occasional joke of being “boring”.
However, families seeking out playgrounds will be happy to discover that the Yew Tee playgrounds are anything but boring. In fact they offer a variety of play opportunities.
