When you talk to your friends about American television series, most chances are that FRIENDS will come up as one of the top-of-mind recalls. So fans and curious friends alike would be excited to know that The FRIENDS Experience has arrived in Singapore!
Running from 7 March to 3 May 2026 at Fever Exhibition Hall at Scotts Road, The FRIENDS Experience: The One in Singapore invites you to step into the set of the iconic 1990’s television sitcom, and get up close to replicas of set props and experience memorable moments from the series.
Remember that time when Chandler says “I love you” to Monica for the first time, when she had a turkey on her head, complete with sunglasses? Or the time that Joey wore all of Chandler’s clothes as to retaliate Chandler for hiding all of his underwear? Well, that turkey and Chandler’s clothes stash have made their way to Singapore as part of the exhibition, so be sure to look out for these fan-favourite nuggets during your visit!

The FRIENDS Experience in Singapore: 7 Highlights to Look Out For During Your Visit
Here are some highlights that you can keep an eye out, to make the most of your FRIENDS experience.
Knocking on the Purple Door of Monica’s Apartment
Before beginning your trip to visit the six famous friends and get into the midst of their antics, watch the opening introductory video that brings you down the memory lane of the show.
So don’t worry if it has been some time since you last caught the show, or even just there out of sheer curiosity what the show is about – you will get a nice recap before knocking on the iconic purple door of Monica’s apartment, and break through the fourth wall into the world of FRIENDS.
Photo Moments on the Famous Orange Couch
Hold on tight to that photo ticket you got at the entrance, because this is the first photo spot with the orange couch, one of the most prominent fixtures of Central Perk, the coffee house that the six friends hang out often. It is one of the friends’ favourite places to share ‘tea’ in all sense of the word, or sometimes just to listen to Phoebe’s renditions of Smelly Cat.
Behind-the-Scenes Glimpses and Costume Replicas
Peek into the making of FRIENDS and discover fun trivia about the show’s production that shares insights on the series’ enduring legacy, through notes by the creators and set designers.
Costume replicas and selected props are also on display, including the famous ‘the Rachel’ hairstyle that became a popular trend on its own in the 1990’s.
Help Ross with the Sofa Pivot
Another photo spot with your photo ticket! The time that Ross decided to forego delivery charges and had Rachel and Chandler help him carry the sofa up the stairs, with repeated screams of “pivot!” is likely one of Ross’ most remembered (and infamous) outbursts on the show.
Here’s your chance to step into the shoes of Rachel and Chandler, as you push the sofa up the stairs, hopefully without needing to cut the sofa into two this time.
Chandler and Joey’s Apartment
The boys’ bachelor pad is where the boys chill and fight in a lot of the time. Most times, the boy have arguments over different lifestyle habits (remember the time Chandler complains about Joey licking spoons and putting them into drawers, with Joey moving out later that episode?), but it is also where they make up and bond.
Relax in the boys’ recliners for a classic “could this BE any more fun?” snap, or cuddle Joey’s bedtime penguin pal Hugsy. We had fun at the foosball table, and just wish the boys were at home to play!
Monica and Rachel’s Apartment
Settle into the girls’ warm and welcoming apartment, and scoot into one of the kitchen chairs for a picture. Don’t forget to keep the place clean and organised, as we all know cleanliness is key to Monica (let’s not bring up the condition of her secret closet).
End Your Journey at the Famed Central Perk
Like the friends, make your way to Central Perk to get cosy and hang out with your friends on the orange couch. Walk behind the counter and role-play as Gunther the coffee house’s manager, or Rachel, as the terrible waitress that she is, often mixing up orders. The coffee house is complete with the mismatched mugs, quirky artwork, and even Phoebe’s guitar just outside along the alleyway.
Our Personal Thoughts on the FRIENDS Experience
I liked the range of sets recreated for the experience, and many details were carefully included. Iconic props such as the orange couch and purple door and its little picture frame appear more than once, bookending the experience to really drive home the sense of nostalgia that resonates with fans of the show.
It did, however, feel like more could have been done, as only a small collection of the costumes and famous props were on display. Key elements that had recurring features in the show, such as Monica’s secret closet at the girls’ apartment, were also missing.
Having attended a number of exhibitions, this experience could have been curated with interactive games that reference moments in the show and props on-site, or even interactive panels on trivia related to each set.
That said, as someone who has FRIENDS running on loop in the background alongside other dramas while I’m doing house chores, and also have it one of my go-to sitcoms to binge-watch on a rainy day at home, I could relate to the set closely.
Each scene at the exhibition conjures up immediate recalls of related episodes and fun moments from the show, and I enjoyed the chance to re-enact moments from the show, set against the locations.
