Stepping out from the elevator, the first thing that will catch your eye is the captivating view out of the immense floor-to-ceiling windows.
We were there for the Sunday Seafood Buffet, an indulgent spread that features fresh seafood along with a hearty selection of dishes and even cooked-to-order items.
Sunday Seafood Buffet Spread
The Sunday Seafood Buffet offers a range of appetisers to start off the meal. The charcuterie board includes smoked salmon, cold cuts like turkey ham and prosciutto along with a selection of cheeses to whet the appetite.
Those looking for fresh greens can pick from the salad bar’s mix of greens, baby spinach, kale and more.
Other appetisers include assorted nigiri sushi and maki.
However, the pride of the Sunday Seafood Buffet is the range of fresh seafood that occupied the central table.
The variety of seafood available include snow crab legs, poached yabby, prawns, mud crab and scallops. Undoubtedly, the star of the spread were the beautifully plump, freshly shucked oysters.
More Dishes at the Sky22 at Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena Buffet
There was plenty more to enjoy at the Sky22 at Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena buffet.
In keeping with the seafood theme of the buffet, there was a live station with shrimp kueh pie tee. Another dish with a seafood twist was the snow crab popiah.
The live noodles station was serving up Sky22 Laksa Lemak. Its thick and luscious gravy made the dish a savoury delight.
More seafood options could be found under the hot section of the buffet with dishes like Singapore chilli crab, accompanied by fried mantou bun, and black pepper prawn.

In addition to what is available on the buffet line, there are also three cooked-to-order dishes available that can be ordered. The Surf & Turf pairs slow-roasted Australian ribeye beef with tiger prawn and black pepper sauce. The HK-style steamed cod fillet comes with superior soy sauce and is dressed with a nice ginger crisp while the steamed sake oysters in dashi broth was a nice alternative to the fresh oysters.
There are also non-seafood options available such as roasted pork belly, chicken curry kapitan and xo sauce carrot cake. Wok-fried Penang char kway teow provided a nice carbs option.

The stand-out dish to us from this section was the tender wagyu beek cheek bourguignon.
Desserts
To end off the meal, there is a colourful dessert table with macarons alongside assorted nyonya kueh. Chocolate tarts and bite sized scones provide a traditional touch to sweeten the palate.
For a contemporary fusion take on dessert, there is durian burnt cheesecake and gula melaka creme brulee.
Kids will appreciate favourites like ice cream and a chocolate fondue fountain.
Entertainment
One of the highlights at the Sunday Seafood Buffet is the roving entertainment. When we were there, magician San Wee came around the tables to perform close up magic that left us astounded.
This was a nice touch to round off a relaxing Sunday lunch.
