Even from a distance, the large and brightly-coloured poster advertising the MLP pop-up menu can be clearly seen, along with the eye-catching graphics adorning the front door. There was definitely some squealing as Miss 4.5yo pranced up to the entrance!

Step inside the cafe and you will enter a magical pony wonderland – think tables fully covered with cheery MLP prints, posters adorning the wall and streamers hanging from the ceiling, featuring all your favourite MLP “Mane 6” characters. The owners have done an excellent job transforming the cafe into the wonderful world of Equestria!

Giant cuddly plushies

Giant cuddly plushies spread out across the seats complete the scene, and double up as excellent props for all your insta-worthy pics. The best seat in the house has got to be the table right in front of the huge MLP logo and beautiful graphic – arrive early to chope it for the best pics!

The Menu With My Little Pony Magic

WFF MLP 02

Experience a touch of alicorn magic with the Superrr Magical! Korean Fried Chicken Burger ($22.90), which excels in both looks and taste. The Korean fried chicken was golden brown and crispy without being too oily, and paired nicely with the sweet soy garlic glaze (note that there is a tiny bit of heat so this may not be suitable for kids who can’t handle spicy food). A plant-based patty option is available as well.

Miss 4.5yo was of course delighted with the kawaii purple mantou bun printed with Twilight Sparkle’s signature cutie mark complete with wings, and happily munched away on the soft bun. Little touches like the star-shaped cheddar cheese cut-outs add to the magic and fun of this dish.

We’re Magic Together Grilled Salmon Truffle Cream Pasta ($23.90)

We also tried the We’re Magic Together Grilled Salmon Truffle Cream Pasta ($23.90) – this dish was slightly less stellar, as we found the grilled salmon a tad on the dry side. The truffle cream pasta was tasty enough, and the huge colourful MLP topper certainly makes this an eye-catching dish.

Also available on the menu is the Mornings…What Ever Great Morning Breakfast ($24.90), a hearty breakfast platter of fluffy mini pancakes served with golden tater tots, creamy scrambled eggs, grilled chicken sausage, and turkey bacon. Definitely very kid-friendly, cos which kid would pass up on pancakes for lunch/dinner!?

Drinks Menu at Wong Fu Fu x My Little Pony Pop-up

Floaty Cloud Matcha Strawberry Latte ($13.90)

The drinks menu is where all the sparkly unicorn magic happens. You’ll be on cloud nine with the extremely photogenic Floaty Cloud Matcha Strawberry Latte ($13.90), or for the kids, the Fluffy Cloud Iced Chocolate ($12.90). Each drink comes topped with a cloud of irresistibly fluffy cotton candy, the stuff that childhood dreams are made of.

Bubbly Muscat Grape Soda/Lychee Rose Soda ($11.90)

The Bubbly Muscat Grape Soda/Lychee Rose Soda ($11.90) is equally magical, and looks like it’s taken right out of a scene from a sparkly fairytale unicorn wonderland. There is so much going on in this interactive drink – pop the cute bubble on top to release dreamy strawberry-scented smoke, while the drink itself is served in a shimmering cup with twinkling rainbow lights. Get your camera ready cos you’re not gonna want to miss the theatrics!

For a lighter option or if you want to add on some sides to your meal, there is a themed snack menu available as well. Choose from 8 items ($12.90-$15.90) such as Crispy Taiwan Salt and Pepper Chicken, Taiwan Sweet Potato Fries with Plum Powder and Truffle Fries with Truffle Mayo. Each snack is served in a – you guessed it – super cute Twilight Sparkle box with wings.

The Mini Dessert Platter ($32.90) featuring 8 delectable sweet treats

Fancy a sweet end to the meal but can’t decide which dessert to get? The Mini Dessert Platter ($32.90) featuring 8 delectable sweet treats is perfect for you!

If your kid has the tastebuds of Miss 4.5yo, then the Layered Jelly-in-a-cup and Strawberry Tanghulu (think candied strawberries with a crunchy sugar shell) will be right up their alley. The Milk Mochi Ice Cream was an all-around crowd-pleaser, while the Lychee Macaron was fragrant with just the right amount of chew in the shell.

free MLP Magic Potion blind box

That’s not all, each order comes with a free MLP Magic Potion blind box which includes 3 mini figures. There are a total of 16 unique designs available, but chances are you will be pleased with whatever you get cos every one of the figurines are just soo adorbs!

While the drinks are priced a little steep, we felt that it was still reasonable considering the aesthetic factor – basically, it’s worth it for the ‘gram cos the drinks are just so pretty!
