Situated on the fourth floor of the brand new iMall at Marine Parade Central, HappyWiz Indoor Playground stands out for its sense of spaciousness and smart layout. Just outside the lift lobby and the first thing you see as you come up the escalators, it feels like a grand reveal to a castle in the sky, beckoning the children to come and have a wonderful time.
A Bright, Airy Welcome for Families at HappyWiz
HappyWiz benefits greatly from its tall ceilings and open floor plan. The space feels bright and breathable, not claustrophobic, even during busier hours.
It’s an ideal environment for families who appreciate room to move—both for children and for accompanying adults.

Pellet Pit Picks the Pecks of Petite Children
Upon entry, young children naturally gravitate towards the pellets pit on the left, while older children might speed towards the obstacle course and slides on the right.
The pellets pit is a simple quiet corner that fits its purpose and even has a short slide where toddlers can navigate around themselves.
As a note of caution, their landing should be cushioned with diapers; older kids should watch out that it might be slightly painful if their bums land on the pellets.
Fee-fi-fo-fum! Adventure Awaits in the Climbing Maze
The centerpiece of the playground is the obstacle course that is much larger than most other playgrounds on the second floor and could double up as a mini maze.
Children were seen navigating around, choosing from multiple routes filled with ramps, padded rollers, hanging obstacles, tunnels, and more.
It was great to see the tunnels being wide enough to allow adults more space to lift their weary heads.
Slide your way down in a twist or a straight line
HappyWiz does a great job of catering to different age groups by offering a variety of slides:
Older kids naturally spent more time at the tall spiral slides, which provide just the right level of excitement for more adventurous children.
For younger ones, the shorter, straight slides were perfect for preschoolers still building confidence but want to be part of the action.
The four-lane slide in the middle of the playground was a lovely way for families and friends to slide down together. Do note your weight can carry you down pretty quickly on these smooth slides!
Building Bricks on the Wall, Light up Cute Designs for All
Children young and younger seemed to enjoy the “art wall” where they could lend creativity in building blocks that light up once affixed onto the wall.
From basic counting to creating fun designs, children seemed to delight in the magic of closed-circuit science.
Light Up Your Child’s Imagination
There were also various role-play zones that included:
- A mini farm where children can milk and feed cow statues. The allure of the farm experience is real, as there were too many city kids taking turn after turn to milk the cow and feed the calf, even if only a simulation. Note that the area can get a little wet as not every child fed the calf perfectly.
- The egg-hatching station was cute as children could collect eggs, although many lost interest quickly as… it was merely picking eggs.
- A car repair workshop was where children not only enjoyed role-playing, but also saw several parents drop their phones to explain about the various tools and enabling the role-playing. The tools were well-stocked and while there were only two cars “for repair”, children seemed to take turns to “work in teams” to “complete the job”.
- The supermarket was well stocked with pretend toys, and tucked neatly in a corner for some younger ones to play masak-masak. Adults can also be grateful they don’t have to bend low to get into the area, another plus thanks to the playground’s high ceiling.
Jump Your Way into the Game
The trampolines, while a section smaller than others, contained enough excitement as interactive screens allowed children to bounce around while playing games.
This seems to be an increasingly popular feature where trampolines are not just about bouncing aimlessly and utilising energy.
Other Considerations At HappiWiz iMall
The tall ceiling also helps distribute sound more evenly, avoiding the echo and noise overload often found in more enclosed playgrounds. The result is an energetic yet not overwhelming atmosphere.
The indoor playground seemed well-maintained, with staff members regularly seen tidying and ensuring that the play areas remain sanitary and safe throughout the day. Hence, the cleanliness was top-notch.
This playground could also be a good choice for hosting parties, because while the cordoned area is simple as with most other playgrounds, HappyWiz is able to customize according to preferred themes.
