CITY SingaPOP Exhibition by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre

See Singapore through a fresh set of lenses at the CITY SingaPOP visual showcase at the Grand Arch.

Presented by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, CITY SingaPOP features the works of French visual designer Nicolas Damiens. When he first arrived in December 2021, he quickly found himself enamoured by what he saw in Singapore.

This led him to capture and transform scenes of Singapore and familiar landmarks into City Pop art – an art style characterised by depictions of urban environments infused with pastel shades, a retro ambience, and a feel-good sense of bygone days.

The exhibition at Chinese Garden features a total of 41 works, including new pieces of the Chinese Garden’s iconic Chinese architectural landmarks such as the Twin Pagoda.
