HAVE A MONSTER TIME: Join a Monster Parade for Kids

-- Story continues below --

A defining feature of Children’s Season 2025 is its emphasis on children’s perspectives. A group of 18 students from Lianhua Primary School, aged ten to eleven, were invited to join the second Children’s Panel.

These students played a key role in co-developing the festival’s content by sharing feedback with artists, offering suggestions for improvements, and helping shape the featured programmes.

This helps ensure the experiences offered are age-appropriate, engaging, and relevant to children’s everyday lives.

Explore 22 Museums with the Stamp Booklet Activity

Explore 22 Museums with the Stamp Booklet Activity

The Stamp Booklet Activity is a fun activity that encourages families to visit museums across Singapore through a fun and educational format.

Children can collect a complimentary booklet from any of the 22 participating Museum Roundtable institutions. Inside, they’ll find a list of museums and prompts designed to guide their exploration and interaction with the exhibitions.

At each location, children will receive a unique stamp after completing a simple activity, such as answering a question, identifying an object, or creating a small sketch based on what they’ve seen.

By collecting a set number of stamps—typically eight or more—participants can redeem the completed booklet for festival rewards, including merchandise, drink vouchers, or activity packs.

The activity is designed to be self-guided and accessible for children aged four to twelve. It aims to promote independent discovery, observational skills, and a deeper appreciation of Singapore’s diverse cultural and historical institutions.

Participating museums span a wide range of themes, including history, art, science, natural heritage, and maritime trade.

The Stamp Booklet Activity runs throughout the duration of Children’s Season, from 31 May to 29 June 2025. It is free to take part in, and no advance registration is required.
