Visit the Indian Heritage Centre and soak in the Diwali atmosphere
The Indian Heritage Centre’s Open House held this weekend includes a Little India heritage trail, story-telling, Rangoli coasters craft activity and traditional Indian games. After the Open House, you could even soak in the Diwali atmosphere and enjoy the light up in Little India.
Car-Free Weekend October 2019 Edition
Several streets in the Civic District and Telok Ayer Street will be closed to traffic this weekend. There will be a Local Heroes Food and Art Market, guided tours of heritage sites, old school games, heritage trishaw rides.
The Grandstand’s October Playdate

Istana Deepavali Open House
Don’t forget to attend the final Istana Open House for the year. Free for Singaporeans and PRs, the highlights of the programme include a performance by Shankar Symphonies presenting popular Indian music as well as other cultural performances. Following the mysterious events that happened at SpookyTown: The Lost Carnival last year, SpookyTown 2 at KidZania Singapore promoses to be a night of family-friendly adventure. Parks Festival at Esplanade Park
Shop, eat and play at the fourth Parks Festival edition at Esplanade Park. Families will love the outdoor ball pit and the inflatable play area. This time around, there is a special Pets’ Day Out: Parks Festival Edition. Apart from an adoption drive, dog obstacle courses, get the chance to interact with the animals. Love Our Macritchie Forest Walk by Cicada Tree Ecoplace
Cicada Tree Ecoplace will be hosting a free “Love Our Macritchie Forest Walk” on Monday morning, 28 October at Venus Forest, Windsor Nature Park.
