The Light to Night Festival 2020 turns Singapore’s Civic District into a kaleidoscope of colours with light projections on the facades of monuments as well as light sculptures around the historic district. For families who want to jalan-jalan in the evening, here are five family-friendly programmes at Light to Night Festival 2020 to take note of.

1. Make and Take Activity: I Was Here

2. Make and Take Activity: Blackout Poetry

Where: National Gallery Singapore, City Hall Wing, Level 2, Singapore Courtyard
Be inspired by Georgette Chen’s letters and create your own blackout poetry about travelling.
3. Musical Performances
When: 10, 11, 17 & 18 Jan 2020, Various Times
Where: Victoria Concert Hall
Victoria Concert Hall is a fitting venue for the delightful and musical performances. On Symphonic Saturdays which will be taking place on 11 & 18 January, there will be performances by artists such as Tabitha Nauser, NUS Jazz Band and Benjamin Kheng. Other entertaining performers like NAFA Saxophones and Accordions Singapore.
4. Future Cities – Printmaking for kids
When: 10 & 18 Jan 2020, 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm
Where: The Arts House, Living Room

5. Drop-in UV Body Marbling by Psyckaholics
When: 10, 11, 17 & 18 Jan 2020, 7 pm to 10 pm
Where: Porch of Asian Civilisations Museum

Other family-friendly activities at Light to Night Festival 2020 include a reading room at The Arts House and a Pop-up bookstore at The Arts House Porch. The museums will also be open till late and there are of the light sculptures and projections to enjoy.
