In celebration of International Women’s Day, The Marmalade Pantry presents a rendition of its signature afternoon tea set themed to show their support of the cause. Available from now till 30 Apr 2022, the Periwinkle Afternoon Tea Set ($68++ for two persons) features new as well as signature sweet and savoury treats.

New savoury items at The Marmalade Pantry
For those looking forward to something savoury, enjoy an Aburi Mentaiko Prawn on Brioche Bun. This was probably our favourite savoury item in the set as we loved the umami combination of chopped prawns, Japanese mayonnaise, and flame-seared mentaiko. We hope that it becomes a regular item on the menu.

Another new savoury item on the menu is the Roasted Vegetable with Basil Pesto Sandwich. This features a Ciabatta sandwich with basil pesto and a vegetable medley of grilled artichokes, tomatoes, eggplants, and button mushrooms. We enjoyed the bun and was surprised at the tartness of the sandwich making it not too heavy on the pallet.
New sweet treats at The Marmalade Pantry
For sweet treats in this International Women’s Day afternoon tea set, enjoy some beautiful purple desserts that are yummy as they are pretty. Created just for the occasion are the Purple Yam Macarons with yam and white chocolate ganache filling. This also pairs wonderfully with their classic Taro Swiss Roll.
There are also Blush Velvet Petite Cupcakes, which are red velvet cupcakes with light pink cream cheese frosting and a macaron in assorted flavours of Earl Grey, Chocolate, Raspberry, Lemon, Orange, and Coffee. The cupcake is also available as an à la carte offering as the cupcake of the month for March and April.
How to order the International Women’s Day Afternoon Tea set by The Marmalade Pantry
The International Women’s Day Afternoon Tea set by The Marmalade Pantry is available for takeaway and delivery. A minimum of 3 working days (excluding the day of delivery) is required for orders to be processed and delivery arrangements to be confirmed. Orders received after 1 pm will be confirmed the next working day. Order online at the site here.
The afternoon tea set is also available for dine-in at the Downtown and Novena outlets, 3 pm to 6 pm daily; dine-in at ION outlet from 2 pm to 6 pm, Monday to Thursday; and The Marmalade Pantry Petite Bugis, daily from 2 pm to 5 pm.
