The PAddle N’ Klean challenge is back from 1 to 31 December 2021. Organised by PA PAssion Wave, members of the public can participate in a clean-up challenge from either a kayak and stand-up paddleboard and help to keep Singapore’s waterways free from litter.

Paddle & Collect Litter

The PAddle N’ Klean challenge requires participants to engage in two tasks in order to earn points. The two tasks are to track the distance that they paddled and to collect marine litter.

Points can be accumulated over multiple visits between 1 and 31 December 2021 during PA PAssion Wave rental operating hours.

The top 10 teams will walk away with attractive prizes consisting of NTUC vouchers of various denominations.

Participants can take part in a group of up to five people. They will need to have their own tracking devices or apps to record their paddling distance and verify completion with the PA PAssion Wave staff. The weight of marine litter collected must be weighed and verified by staff.

The GreenDay mobile app will also be used to track their participation, claim points and for viewing the PAddle N’ Klean leaderboard.

Where to Participate in the PAddle N’ Klean Challenge

Participating outlets for kayaking are PAssion Wave @ Pasir Ris, PAssion Wave @ Sembawang, PAssion Wave @ Bedok Reservoir, PAssion Wave @ Marina Bay and PAssion Wave @ Jurong Lake Garden. Marina Bay, Jurong Lake Gardens and Bedok Reservoir are suitable for beginners.

The participating stand-up paddling outlet is PAssion Wave @ East Coast and certification is required.

Registration slots open weekly on the Monday. Take note that rental of kayaks & stand up paddling boards are only available from Wednesdays to Sundays (except Public Holidays), subject to availability.
