Following the opening of rumeL Cafe at Bugis+ in 2025, Hersing Culinary brings rumeL Cucina to Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ) Mall. Conveniently located next to Paya Lebar MRT station, the restaurant endeavours to serve fun pizza creations such as the outlet-exclusive Nutella Marshmallow Pizza and Live Black Pepper Crab Pasta to hungry patrons.
In celebration of its grand opening on 8 March 2026, the first 88 customers could enjoy a complimentary Coke and Vanda Gelato with every pizza or pasta ordered.

The restaurant also has its own in-house ice cream parlour and a selection of popular Singaporean-favourite beverages such as Kopi and The, making it a go-to place for intimate catch-ups or casual group gatherings.
Whether you are catching a quick lunch or just dropping by for a leisurely dinner, the friendly service and vibrant ambience contribute to a pleasant dining experience. It is the sort of place where you could easily pop over for tea and dessert with family and friends after a meal.
Affordable Pizza and Pasta Set Meals
Taking pride in its affordable offerings, rumeL Cucina serves its Fresh Handmade Sourdough Pizza Sets from S$8.80 onwards, that include a choice of pizza, one side and a beverage. A crowd favourite to try for the set meals is the Hawaiian Pizza, a classic combo of mozzarella, chicken ham and juicy pineapple.
Alongside the pizza sets, the Freshly Handmade Pasta Sets are also reasonably priced from S$10.80, with a choice of side and a beverage. We tried the Aglio Olio with Prawn, that was generally well-seasoned, with handmade pasta topped with large prawns. The chilli flakes and garlic gave a nice gentle kick to the palate.
Other items to look out for on the pasta menu are the Beef Bolognese and Carbonara, which we heard were popular during the restaurant’s soft launch period.
rumeL Cucina: Outlet-Exclusive Menu Featuring Freshly Made Pastas
Newly added to the menu and differentiating it from the other branches, are the pasta menu and outlet-exclusive items that boldly introduced typical Singaporean staples to the pizza and pastas, with a playful twist on classic local treats.
The pasta is freshly made in-house, ensuring that most of the flavours in the original ingredients are retained in the final dish served.
The Live Black Pepper Crab Pasta (S$18.80) is one of the highlights of the new menu entrants, drawing inspiration from Singapore’s beloved seafood tradition, while offering a fresh take with handmade pasta and black pepper sauce.
Our take on the pasta was that the black pepper packed in a powerful punch with every bite, tipping the dish towards the overpowering pepper spice with little room left to taste the crab meat’s meaty flavours.
Available from 6 pm onwards in limited portions daily alongside its pasta counterpart, the Live Black Pepper Crab Pizza (S$16.80) captured much more of the intended rich and savoury essence in its sauce.
Another item on the special menu was the Nutella Marshmallow Pizza (from S$6.80), that offered a sinful and playful pizza spin of molten chocolate spread and toasted marshmallows.
For Nutella fans, it would be a dream come true to taste the pizza-full of Nutella spread, and yet, it would also be the recipe of doom for every person hoping to keep to a clean healthy diet. When we tasted the pizza, each bite was oozing with the sweetness of the melting marshmallows and overflowing richness of the chocolate spread.
