There are neighbourhoods with playgrounds… and then there is Tengah. A case in point is the Parc Flora @ Tengah playground.
The Parc Flora @ Tengah playground is situated between Block 325 and the Tengah Bus Interchange and right beside the playgrounds at Parc Woods.
The most striking feature here is the massive treehouse perched on top of a hill, a structure so prominent that you can spot it from a distance.

The treehouse consists of two towers linked by two bridges, one at each level. Children can scale the towers using vertical rope ladders or an inclined net ramp, both of which help develop their balance, coordination, upper-body strength and confidence.

The lower bridge is fully sheltered, making it easy for kids to run between towers, while the upper bridge is a netted walkway that offers a more thrilling experience as children cross it with full visibility of the ground below.
Those who make it to the highest point are rewarded with a spiral tube slide that winds around six times.
According to the Boays, the slide is unexpectedly fast — probably because it is still new and the interior remains smooth.
Beside the treehouse sits a compact climbing circuit made up of four different elements: a wobbly plank, a bendy ladder, a rope ladder and a peg wall.
Despite its simple appearance, the structure challenges children to use different forms of grip, balance and climbing techniques. Adriel, as usual, was pleased with himself after completing all four sections.
Opposite the playground is an adult fitness corner equipped with both cardio and weight-based stations, giving grown-ups ample opportunity to squeeze in a workout while the little ones play.
Toddler Play Zone – The Giant Rooster at the Parc Flora @ Tengah Playground
At the base of the slope is a play area designed for younger children aged five and below. The first thing that will catch your eye is a giant rooster with bright blue wings.
Children can climb into its “belly” and make their way up to its head, where a clear viewing panel lets them peek out over the entire playground.
Beside the rooster is a familiar toddler-friendly feature: a small rubber mound with a rope on one side and a short slide on the other. This simple structure is ideal for toddlers who are still building basic climbing skills in a safe environment.
Another highlight is the cleverly designed toddler-parent swing. One side is an enclosed pod where toddlers can sit safely, while the opposite side features a flat platform for an adult to sit facing the child.
Watching a mother use it with her little one made it clear how thoughtful this design is — it provides additional assurance for the child, allows parent and child to enjoy the moment together, and creates perfect opportunities for capturing adorable POV videos.
Elderly Fitness Corner
Next to the toddler zone is an elderly fitness corner that goes beyond the usual ramps and exercise stations. One particularly unique feature is a walkway paved with different ground textures, designed to help seniors practise stability and adjust to varying terrains. The foot reflexology path also incorporates pebbles of differing sizes and textures to stimulate circulation and enhance balance.
Convenience at Its Best
One of the most appealing aspects of this playground cluster is its proximity to the Tengah Bus Interchange.
This means access to food options, proper restrooms—often missing in many Tengah playgrounds—and a convenient place for parents of older children to grab a drink or snack while waiting.
It makes the entire playground experience more comfortable and family-friendly.
