Primary 6 pupils will get to enjoy Children’s Day from next year.
Acting on feedback from parents and pupils, the Ministry of Education announced recently that Children’s Day will now fall on the Friday immediately after PSLE, instead of the first Friday of October, or even 1 October as was the practice previously. This means that Primary 6 pupils will get a good long weekend break after their exams.
The ministry has also shortened the fourth term in 2013 by a week. It will now start on 16 November 2012 instead of 23 November 2012.
