Travel experiences platform Klook has teamed up with Kagoshima Prefecture for a limited-time campaign that subsidises Singaporean visitors’ Shinkansen fares starting 18 September 2026 till 28 February 2027, or while stocks last.
Travellers from Singapore who arrive via Fukuoka Airport and book at least one night at a participating Kagoshima hotel through Klook, will receive a free one-way Shinkansen ticket (valued at around SGD 95) from Hakata to Kagoshima.

Visitors can also experience our deep cultural heritage through landmarks such as the National Treasure Kirishima Shrine and traditions rooted in Kagoshima’s samurai history,” he added.
Klook X Kagoshima Collaboration: Free Shinkansen Travel from Hakata to Kagoshima
Among Singapore users on Klook, the overall demand for Kagoshima experiences has grown 214% year-on-year, signalling strong and growing interest in discovering more of what the destination has to offer.
In this collaboration between Klook and Kagoshima, travelers who arrive in Japan through Fukuoka Airport and book a hotel in Kagoshima Prefecture for at least one night via Klook will be provided with a one-way Shinkansen fare from Hakata to Kagoshima (up to 11,420 yen).
This promotion is available for travellers from Singapore, as well as United States, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China.
Take note that this offer is limited and runs on a first-come, first-served basis.
There are also plans for the development of a Klook Pass Kagoshima, which will offer a bundled set of experiences in Kagoshima.
