Leading the range this year is the Steam-Baked Turkey stuffed with Chestnut, Ham and Vegetables ($260 nett, serves 8–12).
Marinated for two days and gently baked, the turkey is filled with braised chestnuts, shiitake mushrooms, and ham, accompanied by fragrant yam rice seasoned with shallot oil and five-spice powder. Served with brown gravy and a house-made chilli sauce, it offers a comforting local twist on the traditional roast.
For smaller gatherings, the Curry Turkey Potato Pot Pie ($68 nett, serves 4 to6) combines tender turkey and potatoes in a lightly spiced curry beneath a golden puff pastry crust.
The Turkey Pot Pie ($60 nett, serves 4) features turkey breast, bacon, cranberries, and butternut squash in a creamy Gruyère sauce, while the Turkey Spinach Lasagne ($72 nett, serves 4 to 6) layers minced turkey ragù with béchamel and mozzarella for a homely, satisfying bake.
Also returning this year is the Snowy Nyonya Turkey Bun ($48 nett, 10 pieces), an inventive take on local flavours and a creative way to enjoy the festive bird. Each bun is filled with diced turkey, egg, spring onions, and sweet melon cubes, then baked to a light, sugar-dusted crust. The result is a pleasantly unexpected blend of savoury and sweet.
Among the returning favourites, the DIY Turkey Popiah with Homemade Sambal Chilli ($86 nett, serves up to 10) remains a highlight for its sense of fun and community. With fillings such as sweet turnips, eggs, shrimps, peanuts, and tender turkey, diners can assemble their own rolls and adjust the spice to taste.

The Earl Grey Winter Sleigh ($118 nett, 1kg) layers Earl Grey crémeux, Jivara chocolate, raspberry compote, and pistachio sponge on a crisp kunafa base, finished with a smooth pistachio mousse. The result is an elegant log cake, offering just the right mix of floral, nutty, and fruity notes.
The Yuletide Chocolate Travel Cake ($78 nett, 800g) is a dense Manjari chocolate loaf with a centre of vanilla-spiced apricot compote. Coated in dark chocolate glaze and toasted almonds, it strikes a balance between richness and warmth.
The Crisp-mas Pistachio Kunafa Tart ($88 nett, 500g) blends Middle Eastern and European influences. Caramelised pistachios and white chocolate weave through golden kunafa pastry strands, creating a dessert that’s both crunchy and creamy. We enjoyed this tart but suggest sharing it because of how decadent it is.
The Merry Berry Nutty Tart (from $18 for two pieces, $52 for 6 pieces) brings together berries, pecans, and pistachios in almond cream and custard. It’s lighter in flavour but full of texture, with a balance of tart fruit and nutty sweetness.
Durian fans can look forward to the return of Goodwood Park Hotel’s signature creations, including the ‘Mao Shan Wang’ Durian Log Cake ($156 nett), D24 Durian Puffs ($60 nett), D24 Crêpe Cakes ($99 nett), and Durian Ice Cream Tubs (from $28 nett). Each dessert highlights the fruit’s distinctive aroma and creamy richness, a hallmark of the hotel’s long-standing durian specials.
