The Alkaff neighbourhood is home to a number of playgrounds, many of which are located on the rooftops of multi-storey car parks. However, one that stands out if the Alkaff Vista Playground, an open, outdoor play area that is located on the ground level.
Alkaff Vista Playground
The main Alkaff Vista Playground is located on the greenway between Alkaff Vista and Alkaff Oasis, in front of Block 106B.
Set under some rather leafy trees, which provide a measure of shade that parents will appreciate, the playground has a several pieces of play equipment that encourage kids to climb, move and simply have fun.

At one end of the Alkaff Vista Playground, there is a play tower with a slide. There are several ways for kids to climb up to the top of the tower where they get rewarded with a slide back down.
Anchoring the other end of the playground is another play tower with a green slide, this one suitable for younger kids.
Other play equipment at the playground that will get kids moving include a rocker that can accommodate parent and child together, a triplet of low swings as well as a merry-go-round platform that kids can sit on.
A little hut serves as a spot where kids can engage in imaginative play.
The ground level playground at Alkaff Vista is a good spot for kids to get outdoors and stretch their legs at play.
Rooftop Playground
For those seeking more play, another Alkaff Vista playground can be found at the rooftop of Block 106, the multi-storey car park.
Located within a fenced off area, the rooftop playground features two play structures with climbing apparatus and slides.
One draw back of the rooftop playground is the lack of shade. This makes it more suitable for those who wish to head out in the evenings when the temperature is cooler.
Nature Slide
There is one more play area at Alkaff Vista where kids can enjoy some outdoor time. This is is hidden in plain sight along the Bidadari Greenway that runs alongside Bidadari Park Drive.
A set of stepping stones lead along a fenced off corridor to a low slide that has been set into the landscape.
There are two of them – so that kids can go on a continuous loop, sliding round and round.
These slides can be found between Bidadari Park Drive and Block 106A.
Alkaff Vista Playgrounds for Kids
The Alkaff Vista playgrounds offer a bit of outdoor challenge for kids living in the neighbourhood. Other play areas nearby include the playgrounds at the neighbouring Alkaff Oasis.
The best part is that once they are tired out and need to get some refreshments, they can head to the coffee shop, located at Block 106A, to cool down and get a drink!
