At The Carbon Gallery, visitors can learn more about how the way we live can affect the future.
The Carbon Gallery at Vidacity, Pasir Ris

Located within Vidacity, which is the grounds of the now defunct Loyang Primary School, which was the first primary school in Pasir Ris, The Carbon Gallery is divided into four zones.
The gallery provides a look at what is the connection between carbon and us, and how we can take steps to reduce our carbon footprint.
UE SQUARE’S COSMIC SPACE EXPEDITION: Have An Out-Of-This-World Adventure!
CARNIVAL OF CHRISTMAS CHEER: Celebrate and Win at Plantation Plaza and Northshore Plaza!
SNOW MUCH TO CELEBRATE: Christmas Fun at The Centrepoint
Stepping inside, the first zone provides a background to carbon and how it is connected to climate change.
There are interactive panels that visitors can read in order to understand more about their carbon footprint.
It also carries the hopeful message that little steps taken today can lead to better day in the future.
Every Day, A Little Better
The next zone at The Carbon Gallery brings to the forefront how individual, everyday choices can have an impact on the environment.
Here, the link between seemingly ordinary activities and our carbon footprint is highlighted.
For example, one section showcases how the choice of transportation can impact carbon emissions and how choices such as walking, cycling and making use of public transport have a lighter impact on the environment.
The Carbon Cart is an interactive mini-supermarket display where visitors are challenged to ‘shop’ virtually for daily essentials within the limit of 60 ‘carbon coins’. It highlights how shopping choices, and picking products that have a lower carbon footprint can be good for the environment.
Here, you will also find Eating a Little Better, where there is an interactive station that spotlights the state of food wastage in Singapore and where you can try to see how much waste you can save by rescuing leftovers and damaged food.
It All Adds Up
In the third zone of The Carbon Gallery, take a look at how individual choices can have a collective impact.
On display are a variety of different causes, such as “Dining with a Difference” and being “Wild for Nature”.
Pick up a chip and drop it into a bin that signifies a cause that resonates with you.
