Kids that love scampering about will find themselves in good company at the Park Edge @ Bidadari Playground where there is a squirrel playground. Younger kids will also discover a snail playground where they can take it at a not-too-sluggish pace either!

With a bushy tail and looking rather cute is a brown Sand Squirrel playground structure. Located in front of Block 227A, it actually hides a vertical play space inside that kids can explore.

Entering in from the body of the squirrel, there are obstacles such as rock climbing walls inside that can be used to reach the upper section of the playground.

Alternatively, kids can make use of the green climbers to reach the upper torso of the squirrel from the outside. From there, they can crawl through a tunnel to reach the head where they can look out.

At the tail of the squirrel, they can enjoy a yellow spiral tube slide and imagine that they are burrowing around just like the ground squirrels do.

In addition to the squirrel play structure, there is also a green plant-themed climbing structure. With a leaf-like shape, the netted structure is reminiscent of the green vegetation that herbivorous squirrels feed on.

It is a great opportunity for kids to climb and flex their gross motor skills.

Completing this first playground, designed for kids between the ages of 5 to 12 years old, is a mushroom spinner where kids can hang on while spinning round and round.

Younger kids who wish to take things at a slower pace can make their way to the Snail Playground at Park Edge @ Bidadari, a soil-themed playground in front of Block 227, the multi-storey car park.

Cute Snail Playground

Designed for younger kids between the ages of 2 and 5, the Snail Playground gets its name from the cute little structure at one side. Even though it looks small, the playground has multiple activities for young kids.

They can crawl through a tunnel, play at the open slide or simply hideaway inside. There is even an adorable snail slider panel on the outside.

Kids can also make their way over to the log tower, with its earthy tones and different ways to play.

From the rear of the log tower, there are stairs leading up to the platform. For the more adventurous, a ramp with a rope provide a more challenging route.

Once on the platform, there is a choice of exploring a balance bridge or making their way across a cargo net bridge.

Rounding off the Park Edge @ Bidadari Playgrounds is a third play space that encourages interaction and fun. This can be found between Block 227A and Block 226B.

Hop onto a merry-go-round where movement activates music as kids spin round and round.

Or have a three-way competition pedalling away on an electronic game station.

Another fun (and potentially competitive) play station is the interactive play posts. Kids can turn the knob to activate the play posts and watch as the lights race upwards to the top.
