Daily Chicken, a Korean fried chicken brand, has recently opened its second outlet at Waterway Point following the positive response to its first location at Bugis Junction. The new outlet brings its signature dishes to families and residents in the Punggol neighbourhood, offering another convenient spot to enjoy its style of Korean fried chicken, which is made with fresh, never-frozen meat and ingredients imported directly from Korea.
A Family-Friendly Dining Space at Waterway Point

The Waterway Point outlet features a design that sets it apart from the Bugis Junction flagship. The interior draws inspiration from a retro American diner whilst blending in elements of Korean street culture. The result is a setting that feels casual, bright and well-suited for family meals or relaxed gatherings.
The warm lighting and décor create a lively atmosphere without being overwhelming, making it an easy option for diners of all ages.

The layout is roomy, and it has a straightforward ordering system. Families with young children will appreciate the uncluttered arrangement. At the same time, groups of friends can settle in for a simple, fuss-free meal that focuses on familiar flavours rather than overly elaborate presentation.
Menu Highlights at Waterway Point
We visited the Daily Chicken Waterway Point outlet and tried a few of the signature dishes. Here are some of the items that we sampled.
Daily Chicken’s Signature Dish: Gangjeong in Black or Red
One of the central items on the menu at Daily Chicken Waterway Point remains its Signature Gangjeong, available in either Black or Red. This boneless fried chicken is coated in the brand’s signature glaze and served in a good portion suitable for sharing.
The Black version features a soy-based glaze that leans savoury-sweet, whilst the Red version offers a spicier profile without being overwhelming. We liked that the chicken maintained a crisp texture despite the glaze, which has contributed to the dish’s popularity amongst diners seeking a simple but satisfying fried chicken meal.
We also enjoyed the additional ingredients that were part of this dish, such as rice cakes and Pop Chicken Kimchi Dumplings. There is also the option to add potato wedges.
Chicken Tender Gimbap
Another item available at Daily Chicken Waterway Point is the Chicken Tender Gimbap. This Korean rice roll combines cooked rice, stir-fried vegetables, and chicken tenders, all wrapped neatly in seaweed. Compared with the more traditional gimbap varieties, the addition of fried chicken offers a heartier bite, making it suitable either as a main dish or for sharing amongst a group. Its compact form and easy-to-eat nature also make it a practical choice for families with children.
K-Chicken Luncheon Fries
For those who enjoy casual comfort food, the K-Chicken Luncheon Fries provide a varied option. The dish pairs crispy fries with Korean-style chicken luncheon meat, creating a blend of textures and flavours that will be familiar to many Singaporean diners. Whilst simple, the combination is likely to appeal to anyone looking for a quick snack or a side dish that complements the other chicken options. It is also a convenient choice for sharing, particularly during busy peak hours when diners may prefer lighter bites.
Refreshing Sparkling Ades
To accompany the food, the menu includes Korean-style ades. These drinks are designed to be refreshing and light, offering a balance of sweetness and tang. We tried the Peach Pop and Strawberry Sparkle. Other flavours offered include Daily Chicken’s Yuzu Zest and Lime Twist.
