Nestled under the shade of mature trees, the Tai Hwan Terrace Playground is a children’s play spot found in the private estate off Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.
Tai Hwan Terrace Playground

Tai Hwan Terrace Playground refers to the entire large open space bounded by Tai Hwan Terrace road and Tai Hwan Grove road. The triangular piece of greenery has a fitness corner along with a playground structure.

The Tai Hwan Terrace Playground structure consists of an elevated hut that invites kids to explore and have some fun. The elevated hut event has a fake tree trunk growing out of it while a whimsical giant flower with a green stalk adds to the playground’s aesthetic.
The hut at the top of the playground can be reached by several ways. One is a long ramp that leads up from the padded playground floor.
The ramp is flanked on both sides by a rope cargo net that reminds us of heading up a ship’s ramp.
At the top of the ramp, there is a sign board with the word “Go!” that points towards the hut.
From the top platform, kids can survey the rest of the Tai Hwan Terrace Playground and its leafy environment.
Other ways to reach the hut include another stairway and ramp that approaches from the opposite side. This makes it for for kids to explore and play.
There is also a climbing ramp with handholds and footholds for kids who wish to be a bit more adventurous.
From the top levels of the Tai Hwan Terrace Playground, there are slides that allow kids to make their way back down to the padded playground flooring below. These include a green enclosed tube slide. There is also a second, lower open green slide.
More Play Equipment at the Tai Hwan Terrace Playground
Besides the treehouse playground, the Tai Hwan Terrace Playground also sports a couple of see-saws for little ones to experience bouncing up and down.
There is also a pair of swings at the playground. One is a bucket seat swing while the other is a regular playground that older kids can enjoy.
We also appreciate the couple of seats around the perimeter of the playground area.
The Tai Hwan Terrace Playground is a verdant spot where kids can enjoy some time outdoors. The shade offered by the mature trees make it a good spot for those seeking to escape from the direct heat of the sun and seek out some play instead.
