Chinese New Year Workshops at Agora Colearning
Prepare for the festivities by learning a new skill! Agora Colearning has a series of Chinese New Year workshops geared at preparing for the new year where children get hands-on baking pineapple tarts, decorating cookies for gifting, or a 3-hour multi-activity session where children learn to make cute cartoon tang yuans, DIY their own lion dance head and learn the steps for lion dance from the an actual lion dance troupe! Agora also offers tuition and enrichment classes 7 days a week. Trials are available at a subsidised fee this January for selected courses. Pop down to LEGO Prosperity Burrows at Suntec City
Step into a festive wonderland filled with fun rabbit-themed LEGO activities at Suntec City from 12 January to 5 February. Complete three activities to redeem a LEGO polybag. Pongal Open House at Indian Heritage Centre

The Pongal Open House 2023 at Indian Heritage Centre. This year, the IHC Pongal Open House welcomes everyone to join in the festivities with an array of programmes on 14 and 15 January 2023. Themed Farm-tastic, this year’s open house takes visitors back to the festival’s agricultural roots. You can also enjoy the light up along Serangoon Road. Chinatown Chinese New Year Light Up
The festivities are back in full force for the Chinatown Chinese New Year Celebration 2023. Sago Street, Smith Street, Pagoda Street, Trengganu Street and Temple Street are lined with vendors hawking their goods. You can also admire the rabbit-themed lights strung out along Chinatown’s streets and pick up some Chinese New Year goodies.
Light to Night Festival
Adopting the theme “Here and Now”, this year’s Light to Night Festival calls for a time of reflection of one’s time and environment. The festival around the Civic District features a line-up of over 60 programmes and artworks by local and international artists. Dahlia Dreams
Usher in the Year of the Rabbit with 100 rabbits at Gardens by the Bay’s Flower Dome, as part of the annual Chinese New Year floral display Dahlia Dreams 2023. Opening on 13 January, look out for different varieties of dahlias from Europe as well as set pieces around the dome.
