Hedwig’s Adventures
On 13 November, Amy J Cheng from ACT3 Theatrics will be spinning tales about one of Singapore literary pioneers, Hedwig Anuar. This free digital storytelling session, conducted over Zoom, will introduce the woman behind our public libraries. Recommended for ages 4 to 8. Free with registration.
You can also head down to the National Library Building at Victoria Street to pay a visit to an exhibition about Hedwig Anuar and pick up a children’s activity book too.
Arts in Your Neighbourhood
Arts in Your Neighbourhood is back art trails, installations and online programmes. In this edition, its making way to the Bukit Merah, Tampines, Jurong, Marine Parade and Serangoon neighbourhoods and more. See these familiar heartland towns in a new light as NAC commemorates 30 years of arts and culture together with artists and residents, and celebrates the stories of neighbourhoods. Christmas in Bloom
