While many people may be going to IKEA to get new furniture for their homes for the Lunar New Year, others may be heading there to get a taste of their new seasonal menu which brings in the heat with mala flavours.
Lunar New Year 2022 Menu at IKEA Singapore: Spicing Things Up with Mala
For the Lunar New Year 2022, IKEA Singapore will be dishing up new items for a limited time only till 28 Feb, while stocks last.
Get some heat with the Plant Ball with Mala Spaghetti ($8.00) or tuck into 6 pieces of Mala Chicken Wings ($10.00). The IKEA Lunar New Year 2022 also includes a Mala Pork Ribs and Vegetable Money Bag with Golden Fried Rice ($13.80).

For something sweet, get a Mandarin Orange Chocolate Cake ($4.00).
But the cutest menu item must be the Little Tiger Buns with Kaya Filling ($2 per piece). (Update: The Little Tiger Buns will only be available from 17 January onwards).
If that’s not enough, pay a visit to the Swedish bistro for a CNY Donut ($7.80) and Hotdog Bolognese ($1.50).
Special Menu at IKEA Jurong
Over at IKEA Jurong, the restaurant will be serving a special menu of local dishes from Monday to Friday, 11.30 am to 3 pm, from 10 to 28 February 2022.
There will be:
- Curry chicken with bread ($5.80) from 10 to 14 January, 31 January to 4 February, 21 to 25 February);
- Fried fish fillet with crispy noodle ($5.80) from 17 to 21 January, 7 to 11 February;
- Salmon with chilli crab sauce and mantou ($5.80) from 24 to 28 January, 14 to 18 February;
- and a CNY Platter Set consisting of Mala Pork Ribs, half spring chicken, salmon fillet, 5pcs meatball, 5 vegetable money bag ($28.80) from 10 January to 28 February.
The Swedish Food Market will also have CNY snacks like Bak Kwa, 500g ($23.80), Cranberries Pineapple Balls, 340g ($8.80) to Mango Pomelo, 500g ($7.80) and assortment of different flavoured cookies including strawberry yoghurt oats, white chocolate brownie cookies and more.
