After three years, Gudetama Café at Suntec City Mall is set to close on Sunday, 17 November 2019.
The café, a partnership and licensee of Sanrio Co. Ltd, first opened on 30 November 2016. The café is themed after Gudetama, Sanrio’s cute lazy egg character. It featured dishes styled after the character.
The news comes eight months after the closure of the Hello Kitty Orchid Garden themed café at Changi Airport in February 2019. It has also been recently announced that the Sanrio Hello Kitty Town theme park in Johor will be closing on 31 December 2019.
Gudetama Café Singapore Closing Promotions
To mark the close of Gudetama Café Singapore, it will be having a special promotion on food and merchandise from 10 October to 17 November 2019. Get 33% off three items with a minimum order of two main and one dessert, or three mains, not inclusive of beverages.

There will also be 33% off merchandise while stocks last.
Those who love themed character cafés can still visit a Sesame Street pop-up café at Kumoya which will be ongoing till 29 December 2019.
