The first Car Free Weekend of 2019 takes place from Friday to Sunday, 29 to 31 March and it is filled with heritage-themed activities to coincide with the Singapore Heritage Festival. Yup, that’s right, the expanded version of Car Free Sunday 2019 now stretches over three days. Two more Car Free Weekends are scheduled for August and October 2019.

Our Telok Ayer Stories

Explore one of Singapore’s oldest streets through a series of pop-up exhibitions and curated self-guided walks. View The Flood of 1958 in Augmented Reality, watch a video projection and imagine what the historic district was like in the past. There will also be a street party and puppet-making workshops. Wanderland by Asian Civilisations Museum

Wanderland by Asian Civilisations MuseumOld school arcade games, bubble tea giveaways and gamelan fusion music are just some of the highlights at Asian Civilisations Museum’s Wanderland. Families can also make a kite and contribute to a public art installation. The museum will also be open till late on Friday and Saturday with special admission prices to the Raffles exhibition. Head down to this pop-up market at Amoy Street on Sunday where everyone is welcome to give what you can and take what you need. The Singapore Really Really Free Market encourages reduction in waste and consumption.
