McDonald’s Prawn Paste Chicken Cutlet Is Now Serving In Stores

Earlier this year, McDonald’s Singapore unveiled the Ha Ha Cheong Gai or Prawn Paste Chicken Burger in celebration of Singapore’s National Day. Now, you can get McDonald’s Prawn Paste Chicken Cutlet as a special menu item in stores.

McDonald’s Prawn Paste Chicken Cutlet is available at $2 a piece. It comes in a paper sleeve ala hash brown.

Return of the Prawn Paste Chicken at McDonalds

When the Prawn Paste Chicken Burger came out earlier this year, we were among those who enjoyed it.

The McDonald’s Prawn Paste Chicken Cutlet retains the same crunchy prawn paste crust as was found in the burger.

While previously, McDonald’s had a prawn paste version of the McWings (which we secretly wished would be a more regular fixture on the Golden Arches’ menu), the McDonald’s Prawn Paste Chicken Cutlet is a boneless cut of chicken thigh.

If you miss the burger version of McDonald’s prawn paste chicken, perhaps you could buy a McChicken in addition to the Prawn Paste Chicken Cutlet and swop out the chicken patty.

Ta-da! A DIY McOwnCreation Prawn Paste Chicken Burger for only $4 – $2 for the Prawn Paste Chicken Cutlet and $2 for the McChicken.

You can find the Prawn Paste Chicken Cutlet under the “New Items” tab at the McDonald’s ordering kiosks.
