1. Japanese Calligraphy Exhibition in Singapore

4. Da Capo XII: Miyazaki in the Park

Singapore Botanic Gardens

The NUS Wind Symphony celebrates its 50th anniversary with this concert in the park featuring the soundtracks from Hayao Miyazaki’s beloved anime films, such as Spirited AwayMy Neighbour Totoro and Howl’s Moving Castle. Details.

5. Storytelling Special: 398.2 Guest Storytelling Session

Toa Payoh Public Library and Jurong Regional Library

Catch master storyteller Roger Jenkins and his team as they pay tribute to folklore and fairytales with exciting and performance-led storytelling sessions. At Toa Payoh Public Library on Saturday 21 October, and Jurong Regional Library on Sunday 22 October.

6. Bright Nights at Sentosa
