Asian Civilisations Museum

The museum’s four-month long celebration of Asian music, dance and drama kicks off with this – masterful marionette performances by Myanmar’s renowned Htwe Oo Myanmar Traditional Puppet Theatre. More info.

6. Chinatown Chinese New Year Celebrations: Opening Ceremony and Street Light-up

7 Jan to 25 Feb, 6 pm to 10 pm

New Bridge Road and Eu Tong Sen Street

Be wowed by the entertaining performances of local and China troupes, firecrackers and fireworks displays at this ceremony marking the start of Chinese New Year festivities. The streets of Chinatown will also be lit up with sculptures lanterns of roosters, hens and chicks. More info.

7. Beautiful Sunday: 1-2-3 Rock!

8 Jan, 3 pm to 4 pm

Esplanade Concert Hall
