7 Night Safari Timings You Need to Know – Opening Hours, Show Timings

The Night Safari is a unique attraction in Singapore. You can expect to spend the entire evening there but you should also know several important Night Safari timings before making your way down to Mandai. Like, what time does the Night Safari open? What time are the shows and token feeding sessions?

Here are 7 important Night Safari timings that you should know about to plan your visit to Singapore’s nocturnal animal wonderland.

Night Safari Opening Time

The Night Safari is open daily from 7.15 pm. Admission is based on one of four time slots, 7.15 pm, 8.15 pm, 9.15 pm and 10.15 pm. You will need to select a time slot to enter the Night Safari when purchasing your tickets.

Onsite Ticketing Booth Opening Time

The onsite ticketing counter opens from 5.30 pm till 11 pm. You can also buy tickets online at any time, and even save up to 25%.

Night Safari Closing Time

The Night Safari closes at 12 midnight. Last admission is at 11.15 pm. This means that if you are looking to squeeze in a late night activity, a 45-minute foray into the Mandai jungle at the Night Safari is possible!

Creatures of the Night Show Timings

Creatures of the Night is one of Night Safari’s signature shows. The show lasts for 20 minutes and showcases the nocturnal habits of animals such as the otter and binturong. Creatures of the Night takes place at 7.30 pm, 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm. There is an additional show at 10.30 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of Public Holidays. As the show is very popular, it is advisable to head to the show venue 30 minutes before the start of the show.

Thumbuakar Performance Times

Watch amazing fire-eating and fire-twirling stunts at the Thumbuakar Performance at the Entrance Courtyard. This show takes place at 7 pm, 8 pm and 9 pm daily except Wednesdays. On Fridays, Saturdays and Eve of Public Holidays, you can look forward to an additional 10 pm show.

Restaurants & Retail Shop Opening Times

All the restaurants and shops at Night Safari open from 5.30 pm daily. Restaurants at the Night Safari’s Entrance Plaza include Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant, Bongo Burgers, Chang Chawang Bar, Casa Italia and Safari Sizzles. Head down earlier to have dinner and catch the Thumbuakar performance. The only restaurant that opens later is the Zebra Café which is located inside the Night Safari at the East Lodge. This opens from 7.30 pm to 10 pm.

Lion and Tiger Token Feeding Times

On Fridays, Saturdays and Eve of Public Holidays, you can catch lions and tigers having a snack in the evenings. The Lion Token Feeding takes place at 8 pm and 9 pm at the Lion Lookout along the Leopard Trail. The Tiger Token Feeding takes place at 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm at the Malayan Tiger Exhibit along the East Lodge Trail.
